GUIDELINES/FAQ
How can I participate?
- Create fanwork inspired by the prompts! For each day of the event’s week, there is a list of prompts you can choose from to work with. You can choose to create a piece that is inspired by one, two, or all three of that day’s prompts! Feel free to get creative with it and interpret the prompts however you’d like.
- When the week comes around, post your work on each day with the hashtag #sebacielsummer2024 and tag the event account (@sbclsummerspree). The mod will be checking the tag everyday to retweet everyone’s works, but tagging the account will help make sure your piece isn’t accidentally overlooked.
- If submitting fanfiction, please add your work to the event’s collection here!
- IF YOU ARE CREATING NSFW WORK, please list any applicable content warnings in your post and tag it with #sebacielsummer2024nsfw. If you fail to tag your work as NSFW, it will not be reposted. Please make sure that it is clear that you are an adult in your account’s bio if submitting NSFW.Do I need to sign up to participate?
- No, simply post your work to Twitter/AO3 during the event week with the hashtags and guidelines as detailed in the answer above.Can I still participate if I’m a locked account and/or would like to stay anonymous?
- Yes! If this applies to you, please feel free to DM your submission to the event account (@sbclsummerspree) and the mod will post it to the account on your behalf. Please include the work (whether it’s art or a link to a fic), a caption, and if you’d like any sort of name or username to be credited to or want your submission to be from “Anonymous”.Are late submissions allowed?
- Yes! The mod will be checking the tag for at least two weeks after the official end of the event, so feel free to post late submissions if you please.Can my work include other characters, or are only Sebastian and Ciel allowed?
- You are free to include other characters, but please make sure that the work is focused on Sebaciel.Can I submit language in a language other than English?
- Yes! Feel free to submit works in whatever language you feel comfortable with.By participating, you are aware that this event is 18+ due to the inclusion of NSFW works. The mod will not acknowledge submissions from minors. Please be aware that works that are AI-generated are strictly prohibited.
